Jeff Bezos's Prometheus closes a $10 billion round

Prometheus, the physical AI company backed by Jeff Bezos, closed a funding round valuing it at about $38 billion. JPMorgan Chase and BlackRock were anchor investors. Together with the $6.2 billion raised at launch in November 2025, the company has now raised more than $16 billion before unveiling a public product.

Why it matters

Prometheus stands out because of the amount of capital raised before a public product. Investors are effectively buying the team, the vision and Bezos's physical-AI thesis.

What investors should watch

Until products and metrics are public, the valuation is based more on trust and market size than operating proof.

This article is market context, not investment advice and not a promise of returns. It highlights where capital is moving, which companies are reaching the next stage, and which risks should be checked before any decision.
