The new Oklahoma facility added 400,000 square feet of space. Both Tulsa plants manufacture electrical components for AI infrastructure: medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchboards, electrical enclosures, control systems, and copper busbars.
Crusoe is not only building AI data centers but is also increasingly manufacturing the equipment for them in-house. The company embarked on this path in 2022 by acquiring its supplier, Colorado-based Easter-Owens. According to Crusoe, in-house production enables them to accomplish in days what often takes the rest of the industry months.
The results are already visible at construction sites: the Tulsa plants supplied over 2,500 switchboards for the flagship Stargate campus in Abilene alone. The workforce has also grown faster than projected. More than 300 local workers are employed across the two sites, whereas the company had anticipated a staff of 100 when it opened the first plant in 2024.
