Last week, Hark—a deal we opened to our investors at the end of September—launched its first application for a general audience. Hark Pro is available for free on the web, iOS, and Android.
Hark Pro functions as a proactive personal assistant. It remembers what the user says, identifies tasks within emails and calendar entries, and suggests actions—such as booking a flight, purchasing movie tickets, or drafting a reply to an email. Tasks requiring interaction with websites are handled by "Handoff," an agent the company unveiled in August. Handoff acts as a cloud-based computer for Hark: it can open up to six browser instances simultaneously, powered by a proprietary model trained specifically to operate a computer.
In fact, almost our entire team has already tested Hark for both personal and professional tasks; many have even deleted ChatGPT after seeing what this solution is capable of! :)
Paid subscription tiers were available from day one. The basic version is free and ad-free, while subscriptions priced at $20 or $100 per month increase usage limits by 2x and 10x, respectively.
The next milestone involves hardware: Hark plans to launch a line of devices in 2027. To secure the necessary computing foundation, the company entered into a multi-year partnership with NVIDIA in late August. This agreement provides access to gigawatt-scale computing capacity based on the next-generation Vera Rubin platform.
Participation in Hark’s Series A round—at a $6 billion valuation—is currently open.
